While there is room for improvement I love to play Golf. As a spectator my favorite sport is Basketball with Baseball a bit behind that. Understand - I mention that (hey, honesty calls). There are some things that are hard to understand (walks on the beach - romance is NOT beach walks), 'soulmate' - soul is a religious idea - looking for a friend, not a guru. High heels (actually, like them, just don't get how they work). Anyway - I am no saint - not after being around as long as I have, but have learned from experiences and I hope that I can communicate better than as a teen, youth, and various stages until now. Have learned that men and women communicate differently. Lots of books on this - don't plan to write another. Still, a great difference. I mean GREAT in that it's fun and makes life interesting. Right! Guys are dull. Doh! Sports bore me. Like to sail - small boats - any size really. Oh to sail the world (seasick, who cares)! I am found in the wine dark sea of life - Now a few more things - do you read? I do - not the usual novels; biographies to novels to all sorts of non fiction - consistency not required. Poetry, sadly not too good at writing it - but I think it. And I listen to all of music; music is good. Outdoors and the sky, wild places over the world attract me - climate not an issue. Actually, it is an issue. But probably more so for coming generations. Mostly I want to learn out of life, life is learning. Now if I could only know where to write to, not talk (or maybe talk for real). If you have looked at this several times, maybe it will mean - where do I write? Like for real - or not so real - uh oh I think that I dont' want to fence myself in in any way here - I'll know when I meet this ideal match - you tell me - and I will tell you. Of course, I would like you, just like me, to be perfect in every way. Honest, tall, short, slim, beautiful, etc. - rich would be nice too! But, like me, you are just what you are and have become though the learning process of life - as such you will be interesting. Intelligence (no, I don't give a test!) is a requirement. Sometimes it looks like the search IS the whole story. But I guess that is not the best way to look at it, better to see the search as a watercolor sketch when the final canvas will have lots of oil paint, thickly laid on, with texture galore - oil on water. Uh oh stream of you know what again. Now if I say "Paris" - would that do anything for you? Perhaps "Rome" or "London" better? But I return to Paris.

I have lived intensely in both the married and divorced state, each contributing elements into making me who I am. I have three children who are an integral part of my life, even if they don't live with me. (IMPORTANT NOTE: my 14 year old boy lives with me half time; you should see this as an opportunity rather than an obstacle). I enjoy my alone time and can get hooked into and lost in a book.
