Date people from United States. I retired officially two years ago, but I continue to teach part-time because of the stimulation of the classroom environment and the academic enterprise. I enjoy going to movies, museums, restaurants and cultural events. Reading mostly non-fiction books as well as maagzines and journals fulfills my quest for knowledge and understanding. Along with reading I do enjoy music, especially jazz and blues. Occasionally I do find some TV shows that are well written and acted, so I will become an avid fan. As far as food likes or dislikes, I generally will try most any food although I can't say I have one particular preference. However, I do love gin martinis, red wine, coffee and dark chocolate. To keep off any calories gained and maintain a healthy body I regularly exercise combining walks or hikes with weekly weight training as well as swimming or biking.
I have two sons, one who lives in Colorado with his wife and daughter and my youngest who is in his last semester of law school.

My hobbies and interests are snow skiing, water sports,hiking, motorcycles(street & dirt), motor homing, jeeping in the back country.
