Date people from Berkeley, United States. I came to Match.com because the people in the commercials seem so darn happy. Since I like to be happy, I figured I'd give it a shot.
I’m a bit of jokester (proudly voted class clown in high school). For me, there’s nothing like making others laugh, even if my sense of humor might get me in a little bit of trouble from time to time (though sometimes that makes it even funnier). Of course, I’m worth more than a few laughs. I’m a real family man, who’s extremely honest, loyal, and caring. I’d do anything to take care of those closest to me (both my family and my large circle of lifelong friends). I also try to consult them when life’s thrown me something ridiculous, though I ultimately do things my way. While I’ve always been good at knowing and communicating my emotions, I remain very confident in my own choices and care little for what most people think of me. Don’t worry though, that doesn’t include you. I’ve been in serious relationships before, and while they may not have worked out, they’ve helped me to realize exactly how communication (and really everything) should run in a successful relationship. Lastly, I consider myself intelligent and well-educated, though I acknowledge that there’s still plenty out there to be learned. Therefore, I’m incredibly outgoing and want to experience everything this world has to offer.
What am I looking for in a partner then? Well, I want someone who’s very much after my own heart. She’s smart, intellectually curious, and ambitious (she knows what she wants out of this life and how to get it), but is still intensely nurturing, affectionate, and just likes to enjoy herself as much as possible. She has to know how to laugh, no matter what’s going on. As far as looks go, it’s important that she’s someone who takes car of herself, has a pretty face, and a great smile, but none of that means anything if she’s not also loyal, self-assured, open-minded, sincere, communicative, and willing to put the needs of others in front of her own.
So, if you think you’re her and you’re ready to get out there and see the world by my side, please, don’t shy away from my inbox.
Meet a soulmate from Berkeley, United States. Description is one of four rhetorical modes (also known as modes of discourse), along with exposition, argumentation, and narration. Each of the rhetorical modes is present in a variety of forms and each has its own purpose and conventions. Description is also the fiction-writing mode for transmitting a mental image of the particulars of a story
Date single boy from Berkeley, United States. I generally consider myself to be a motivated, funny, and all around happy person. I love meeting and getting to know new people.
I am happily employed at a great company, and I am a hard worker, but I greatly value my time outside of the office and like to live life to the fullest!
My ideal match needs to be able to hold up a good conversation - that is very important to me. I greatly value personality - all else we can work around.
"Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail."
Meet a boy from Berkeley, United States. I am a hard working, rugby playing, hiking, biking, cross-fitting, kayaking, outdoor Alaskan guy. I'm always looking for the next adventure and I plan awesome things to do on the weekends. A beautiful day spent indoors watching a movie is a waste to me, there is plenty of time for that when its raining/cold/dark outside. Thats not to say I don't love reading and movies, I really like learning new things and finding something new and cool to talk about.
The best views are ones you have to hike hard for, the best smell is a campfire in the early morning. That and the view of the bay from Att Park, I love going to Giants games and I hope to find someone that likes watching sports.
I like taking care of things myself and I work hard to do it. I set goals, achieve them and go out and get another goal. I'm looking for someone that will challenge me to reach even further and help push me to be what I know I can become. Someone that has their own goals that I can help them with.
What I'm looking for: a strong, confident women that likes to have meaningful conversations and is up for an adventure.
Date someone special from Berkeley, United States. Making other people happy makes me happy.
I love Arts & Technology. I consider myself a friendly, non agresive person.
I'm looking for someone that makes me a better man.
I'm the kind of man that beleives any man can win a woman’s heart, but not all men can truly treasure it.
Meet people from Berkeley, United States. Hey there. A good friend of mine found a gorgeous Italian man on Match.com, so I am here to see if that was an anomalous find or repeatable - though the Italian detail is not necessary.
To start, I am an engineer working in aerosol design and manufacturing. I would like to point out that engineering and science is awesome and quite frankly, I am obsessed with it all. If science doesn’t appeal to you, then I will probably be the most annoying human being you could possibly meet…perhaps you should save yourself and stop reading. If you’re still reading, then I should also point out that my geekiness extends into major Star Trek fan. I am constantly urged to disclose my favorite ST show, so let me save you an email and reduce internet “tube clogging” (thank you Senator Stevens for coining this metaphor) and say that TNG is my favorite. I will also take the opportunity to say I do NOT like TOS and I think Kirk is a slut. Phew, now that is out of the way.
Currently, I am looking for more excitement. I love my dog, I take him on walks. Sometimes I get out for the evening, and most of the time I donРІР‚в„ўt. Granted, I have been making many life adjustments, so given some time, I will equilibrate. But the thing is, I need more adventure. Perhaps you can relate: there are so many things I would like to go do in the city - like museums and galleries - but the thought of going alone seems, well, lonely. Most of my friends live in the city, so for small excursions, like the movies, I fly solo. I do enjoy this alone time, but who doesnРІР‚в„ўt enjoy hand-holding in the dark?
When I get a spark of inspiration, it can take me in so many different directions. I love to paint, so at times I take to the canvas. When my brain is in need of stimulation, I like self-learning . Recently, I have been learning more about quantum mechanics and programming. If you are well versed in either, I would like to pick your brain.
Anywho, thatРІР‚в„ўs me in a really small nutshell.
Date someone special from California, United States. About me? Hmmm...
I'm in graduate school and interning at a stop motion studio. I'm a busy lady and don't get a chance to meet new people all that often. So here I am, giving this a try!
Let's see, I'm outgoing, career driven, and above all love to laugh! (I make cartoons for a living, go figure). I like going camping but there's never enough time. I go on a massive camping trip with all my friends every year, my favorite annual vacation!
When I'm not working my best friend and I spin fire with hula hoops and sometimes just throw a regular hoop around and work on tricks for fun. I stay pretty active since I try to make the time to practice even just for a few minutes everyday.
Sometimes I like urban exploration adventures like going to Urban Ore and finding something I can make into something else or fix. When I get bored, I teach myself how to make or do something new.
I'm a nerdy girl, a huge doctor who fan, love joss whedon and very much enjoy making jokes about 90s tv shows. I still kinda feel like a kid on the inside, I still like having snowball fights and watching cartoons. But you'd be hard pressed to find an animator who isn't just a big kid with a job, most of us really and truly are children at heart, that's the best part of our gig, no one expects you to grow up all the way.
I read a lot of Sci-Fi and Fantasy fiction. I went to college and read the classics and all the other sophisticated lit but now just really like to read for fun so I pick up murder mysteries and crazy stuff on other worlds. I like super imaginitive stuff that sweeps you off your feet. For example, "The Time Traveler's Wife" is one of my favorites, amazing modern world fantasy. i cry at the end every time, books that move you, thats real magic. I also really love historical fiction, especially mysteries! A good "who done it?"is the best! I don't get a lot of time to curl up with a good book so I've really gotten into audiobooks I can listen to while I work. Christopher Moore has the best audiobooks, but be warned if you listen on headphones, people will look at you funny when you start laughing out loud to yourself. Just sayin'
What am I looking for?
I'm Looking for some one who's honest, non judgemental, funny, open to new things, easy going, someone whos not easily embarrassed and can laugh at themselves. I'm looking for someone who is as driven as I am and has big dreams they're going for. Nothing is more attractive than an outgoing man with goals and a great sense of humor. Someone who's social, motivated, fun, gotta be fun, open and straight forward. Being a hard worker also means playing hard. I'd like a guy who likes to let loose and hang out after work, takes his job seriously but enjoys his life. I'm a glass half full kinda person so Positivity is key. :)
I'm an artist and travel in some odd social circles at times, I need some one who's not going to make snap judgements and is willing to pick up a book and flip through the pages, not just see the tacky cover and decide its not worth reading.
I think I'm looking for what everyone's looking for. Some one who gets me. Some one who I can go to the beach with and build sand castles, go to a pub or a party with, or just curl up at home with a good movie and Chinese take out. Some things become cliche for a reason. I'm looking for something real and serious but I don't expect it to happen over night, friendships really are the best foundations for relationships right?
My world is not exactly on the beaten path, if you're very conservative or uncomfortable with people who are quirky or different from you, then we probably are not well matched. I wish you all the luck in the world finding someone, but it probably isn't going to be me.
But if you've ever thought about dressing up like a pirate, not for Halloween but for just the sheer joy of feeling a little bit silly, message me. Imagination and silliness are what makes life worth living.
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I am outgoing, stubborn, hard-working, creative, and social. I love to be outside, and want to meet someone who wants to be a weekend warrior with me. I'm focused on working and want to go to law school in the future. I love a good sunset and a dirty joke, not necessarily at the same time..but possibly. I am looking for someone who thinks for themself and knows who they are, or are at least interested in finding out. I am looking for someone interested in pushing their boundaries, mentally and physically, and has fun being challenged. I love to argue about politics but not to a point of being innapropriate or making others uncomfortable. I am very opinionated but love to be proved wrong. I love standup comedy and think Larry David and Jim Jeffries are hilarious. I also have a little jewelry company called Fig & Faun, which takes up a lot of my spare time :) I love to cook and hoard my grandma's recipes, even though they will literally give you a heart attack if you eat them regularly. Some random facts, just for fun, of course: 1. If I see an injured or abandoned animal, I will bring it home and save it...non-negotiable 2. I love belgium beer 3. Being thoughtful is way more important than being fancy, and I'll take a homemade card over an expensive dinner any day! 4. I love Bob Dylan but am suspicious of other people who love Bob Dylan 5. I dont have and don't want a smart phone..weird I know!
okay, That's enough about me! whew, that was exhausting.
oh also, if the only thing you are attracted to is that I like Belgium beer, you don't need to e-mail me to let me know. If that's all we have in common, then we should probably start seeing other people :)
Also, I'm sure that this may offend many very lovely people, but I don't date people who wear transitional lenses. They just freak me out.
Also, if your profile says you're interested in Asian girls but you've emailed me, I'm just going to always think you have an asian fetish -- especially if you regularly get pedicures.
Date men and women from California, United States. My interests run the gamut, from travel and the outdoors to good food and movies. I studied abroad in France and Egypt and spent a year teaching in English in Turkey shortly after graduating from college. I can't wait for my next trip to the Middle East; just don't ask me when that might be. I spend a daily chunk of time running the trails in the American River Canyon, and generally love being outdoors. I finished my second marathon last October, but I'm not competitive enough to cross over into the land of obsessive runners. I also love to cook. I have been told by many of my closest friends to skip grad school and open a bakery, but for now I'll just keep the cakes for friends and family. All things baked, and good food in general, are definitely weaknesses (or passions?) of mine. Luckily this fits well with that little aforementioned running hobby! Bars and clubs tend to be outings I do only when prompted to by friends. It can be fun, no doubt about it, but my personal preference would be a good glass of wine and a movie, or live theater, or exploring a new city...the list goes on. I am open-minded, however, and embrace an opportunity to try something new.
I hope to find someone who enjoys a good discussion, whether it be of the latest comedy or of Mid-East politics. I am drawn to a good sense of humor, wit, and intelligence, and I always enjoy learning something new from the important people in my life. I would love to find someone who doesn't mind pushing his own limits.
I admire romance from a distance, but I find that when it boils down to it, IРІР‚в„ўd rather have a fun-loving best friend than a steamy love affair. I tend to laugh too much to live life like an Antonioni film. Of course, a mind is a malleable thing...
I will be starting law school in the fall, so IРІР‚в„ўm hoping to fill the time between now and then with as much fun and adventure as possible. IРІР‚в„ўm sorry if this description of myself comes off as vague; I guess youРІР‚в„ўll just have to meet me for answers to all the unaddressed questions!
