I'm a romantic at heart with a healthy dose of New England common sense; a creative creature, who loves to travel in the worlds of imagination & intuition, with highly analytical detours into areas that fascinate me. I'm deeply connected to nature & the country, but equally crave the diversity, innovation & creative pulse of the city.
More counter-culture than conventional, I've not much interest in the status quo, except as a launching pad. Love to explore things on the edge of being known...an "early adapter" (there's even a name for it.)
My acting career brought me to NYC throughout my 20's & 30's where I worked mostly on stage, and, sparked in part by Stewart Brand, the Lindisfarne Association & all things progressive & innovative, I was irresistibly drawn to California. Here my primary focus has been on alternative healing, metaphysics & spirituality.
Working with passionate purpose and deep meaning has been a through line in my life, lived mostly outside of the proverbial box. I can't imagine life without being enthused, inspired & working on something juicy, so doubt I'll ever fully "retire". Would love to act again...work with at-risk teens to create plays of their own making..do a workshop adapting acting tools to help people manifest more effectively (this is in the works)...and who knows what else. Right now, I'm passionate about bringing to people a new scientific discovery for health & athletic performance.
I have alot of kid in me, with characters & voices popping out. Part tomboy, but all woman; very sensitive, but spunky & resilient; a free spirit, but down-to-earth; independent, but nurturing & loyal to those I care about.
I'm a serial monogamist looking forward to a new life partner. My last one died (no, I didn't do it). How do I imagine this man to be? Well..
He is warm, very, very warm, with a kind & open heart, he's very progressive, with an innovative, adventurous mind, & a passionate nature. He's sensitive & strong, playful & affectionate, intelligent & down-to-earth. He has integrity, a rich sense of humor, a strong spiritual connection, rarely leads with his ego & is at home with who he is. He's sensual, and earthy, creative in his own way, hopefully good in the woods, loves nature & is nuts about me. Animal lover & ventriloquism a plus...
