Meet someone special from Salinas, United States. I live outside of the city limits in the country here on the beautiful Central Coast. Born and raised in California. Have two fine grown children, with two grand boys to play in the sand with.
I have varied interest most of which revolve around outdoor activities including hiking, camping, (have travel trailer with indoor plumbing and hot water) and sailing. (have small sail boat) I bike a lot nothing marathon but enjoy excursion riding. Also enjoy trail riding on my ATV (carries two). I belong to a club here where we build and fly radio control airplanes (Primary hobby since childhood, never grew out of it). My son introduced me this year (2009) to the sport of trap shooting, and sporting clays (no animals involved, and the only thing hurt is ones pride for missing so many) for which I have come to enjoy, especially when I win, which is rare.
I've also been known, on occasion, to polish my tennis shoes and press my jeans for a trip to The City for dinner, the theater or an occasional concert.
I'm a gadget nut by nature with a garage workshop. I tinker with and fix or build most everything, not always successfully. A little artistic, a whole lot crafty. Faint of Heart be wary.
