Date a woman from Benicia, United States. I am a college teacher of English and a voracious reader. I am interested in politics and public life. I tend to the liberal side. I am interested in someone who reads, who enjoys talking politics, who enjoys being outside in nature. I am occasionally susceptible to a hint of the irreverent, the idiosyncratic, or even the idiotic--simply for the sheer delight of it.

Meet men and women from Benicia, United States. IРІР‚в„ўm enjoying my retirement, keeping in touch with my daughters visiting family, walking with friends, doing jazzercise, reading and photography; and spending time with friends attending movies, lectures, performances, concerts and a discussion group. I listen to music and IРІР‚в„ўm starting to play the piano again. I am thrilled to be singing in the chorus of the annual two-week Carmel Bach Festival. I enjoy travel, and I look forward to a choir trip with my second choir to Europe with concerts in four countries.
In a relationship I value good communication, a sense of humor, talking seriously and also laughing together, going out and having fun and staying honest with each other.

Meet a soulmate from Benicia, United States. I am a woman who grew up in the South and believes in being responsible, caring, respectful and involved in the world I live in. I have now lived many years in California and enjoy the weather and the openness. I have lived an active life with walking, golf, swimming, fly fishing, floating down rivers for the exercise portion of my life. I try to balance my life with good food, exercise and plenty of rest. For the spiritual basis of my life, I have been worshipping, giving to missions by time and money, and volunteering in a church basically since I was born. I served as the City Manager of a small town for 6 years which was a wonderful experience and used the background of my paralegal training. My degree from Mercer University, Atlanta, GA in Business Administration, Marketing Major, was used in all the work I have done. My family (2 children, husbands and 2 grandsons) is and always will be a big part of my life. My parents were excellent examples for me and lived to be 96 and 98 so I enjoyed many years with them. I am divorced but am looking for a person with whom I can share common interests and time. I also have a number of good friends who are a great support to me. I have and will continue to travel to interesting places as well as North Carolina where my 2 grandsons live. In my profile, I noted the areas I have boundaries: alcohol (moderate only), children (none in home), and christian background. I enjoy eating out, movies, live performances, golfing, and many activities and I am a basically flexible person. My volunteer community work is one the things I am most passionate about as I have a strong need to help others by teaching them "how to fish, not giving them a fish". I am a positive person who strives to see the best in myself and others.
