I have now lived many years in California and enjoy the weather and the openness. I have lived an active life with walking, golf, swimming, fly fishing, floating down rivers for the exercise portion of my life. I try to balance my life with good food, exercise and plenty of rest. For the spiritual basis of my life, I have been worshipping, giving to missions by time and money, and volunteering in a church basically since I was born. I served as the City Manager of a small town for 6 years which was a wonderful experience and used the background of my paralegal training. My degree from Mercer University, Atlanta, GA in Business Administration, Marketing Major, was used in all the work I have done. My family (2 children, husbands and 2 grandsons) is and always will be a big part of my life. My parents were excellent examples for me and lived to be 96 and 98 so I enjoyed many years with them. I am divorced but am looking for a person with whom I can share common interests and time. I also have a number of good friends who are a great support to me. I have and will continue to travel to interesting places as well as North Carolina where my 2 grandsons live. In my profile, I noted the areas I have boundaries: alcohol (moderate only), children (none in home), and christian background. I enjoy eating out, movies, live performances, golfing, and many activities and I am a basically flexible person. My volunteer community work is one the things I am most passionate about as I have a strong need to help others by teaching them "how to fish, not giving them a fish".
