Date a guy from California, United States. I will say this right off the bat - chivalry is not dead. I was brought up by only my mother, so I have a healthy respect for all things woman. It is also from this that I created my belief that women are equal, and even superior in some aspects. However, at the same time, men are supposed to provide for and protect women, not because men are better, but because that is our romantic duty. I believe, between a man and a woman, that once a bond is made, a man should do everything in his power that the woman is comforted no matter what happens.
