About me;

I don't look nor act my age, ( I hope you don't either).
I'm a down to earth jeans and tee shirt guy with a sometimes off the wall sense of humor (I also make fun of myself, yeah it's pretty easy :).
Some of my hobbies and interests include getting out hiking exploring historical sites in the deserts and mountains about once a month, occasional weekend get-aways. But also balanced, being a bit of a home body, enjoying time at home. I am very interested in and try to stay on top of national/ world news, current events technology.
I like getting outdoor's about once a month. Road trips, 4x4 exploring off the beaten path, finding photographing Indian petroglyph sites, old ghost towns, flowers, lakes, landscapes. I'm looking for someone that would enjoy doing some of these things with me every once in a while.
I would also like to learn to play tennis, or just attempt to hit the ball back and forth for exercise.
At home, I don't watch TV, but do enjoy good movies; comedies, action adventures, psychological thrillers, documentaries, and movies based on actual events (like Titanic), and even like some Chic Flic's ! (The Notebook is one of my favorites). After work I like to go for a quick bike ride or hike on the local trails.
I'm pretty creative, at home at nite I spend my free time working on my photography on the computer and posting it to my website. I like to do other man cave guy stuff like building models or fixing things, (it keeps me off the streets at nite :)
No drugs, but I do like red wine at nite, a beer on a hot day, and coffee in the morning:)
Sorry, I am not into sitting around watching sports on TV, don't like sushi and can't dance either ! :)
I am also kinda handy around the house, I take care of everything from repairing the washer to installing brakes on the car, to fixing the computer. Music taste range from 60's rock to classic rock to folk, Alison Krauss to Dixie Chicks; CSN, Neil Young to Toby Keith, Eagles to Moody Blues, Sara Mclaughlin to Sara Evans. The Animals to the Monkees to the Zombies. (they had cool names back then).
I think it's very important that your partner be your best friend, the one you want to come home to, the one you want to spend time with, the one you want to do things with, the one who laughs at you when you slip fall on your butt. I would prefer a woman who has had/ or has kids. All of my kids are over 18, so I feel we can relate on this subject ! :)
I would like to find a creative girly a bit tomboyish woman that would enjoy spending time together. Now that my political point of view is understood, which Republican candidate has the capability [experience he lacks] to defeat Obama? Well, I think now that question is moot. Can Romney prevail?
Now on a personal note, I would be very content with a lady who isn't on a mission to change mankind, especially myself. I do not hope for this person, I'd rather wait for her to cross my path and let the journey begin. I like to laugh, dance, cook or dine out. I like woman who are funny/silly and romantic. My ideal lady enjoys holding hands and kissing in public. Strangers will be in envy. I'll make you laugh when you don't expect it! On a whim, we'll go to Catalina Island-Palm Springs- SF-Santa Barbara-the Wine Country-Hawaii or ?. Love the outdoors, sun, ocean and even the rain. My two daughters are my friends. We see each other at least two/three times a week and text every day. I'm blessed in the daughter department. My profession demands most of my serious side, so out of the office its time for R R. I can be very serious in the right relationship. I have written two books-just have not done anything to promote them. And no, I'm not a procrastinator...well maybe some would suggest otherwise.
