Sadly, my dog is an adequate walker but a pitiful dancer. And although he’s an excellent listener, I’d really like a lot more give and take in conversations. Moreover, he may find the New York Times newspaper very absorbing, but he’s not a reader. So we really can’t immerse ourselves in the joy of reading and discussing books.
I also share one of my dog's better traits. We're both extremely affectionate. Although I may not give you a slobbering lick, I like to hug and be hugged, and show overt affection for someone I care about.
