The grandeur of the ocean has drawn me since childhood on the east coast. I love the beach, whether Del Mar, Hawaii, Mexico or the Carribean. Some of my best times during the last decade were Saturday afternoons at the beach with my beloved companion Sparky, the Swiss Mountain Dog who taught me unconditional love.
Tennis has been a favorite form of recreation throughout my life and ping pong a frequent, pleasant amusement and occassionally more competitive outlet.I am an avid fan of professional sports,particularly at playoff time ! I enjoy travel for both business and pleasure in North America, Europe and Asia. After a thirty year hiatus I have resumed playing the piano and started singing. I don’t have a lot of recent pictures, and these look a little too serious, in my opinion. I’m more comfortable on stage than in front of a camera. Weird, isn’t it? I like to have fun and I laugh a lot, but I don’t mind a serious, thoughtful conversation either. I have a lot of creative energy, and I need to have some kind of artistic outlet, whether it’s playing music, painting, woodworking, or writing. I’m not a master of any of these, but I can usually produce a reasonable facsimile with a little effort. I’m open to just about anything, as long as there’s a better than even chance that I won’t be killed or maimed, but most of my crazier youthful pursuits have given way to more subtle rewards. I like travel, cozy bistros and pubs, being outdoors, and just about anything that feeds my soul.
