Originally from New Jersey I came to California in 1980 and spent 13 years in Marina Del Rey, near LA. I then relocated to San Diego in 1994 and now live in a nice almost new condo I own in Kearny Mesa. I share my condo with my cat of 10 years, Essadia.
I work as a business coach and consultant…enjoy flexible hours, no nights or weekends and I love helping people. I’ve worked for three celebrity author/speakers…Brad Sugars, Dr. John Gray and Michael Gerber. I’ve learned a ton about people from each one of them and love to face each day with the promise of learning about a new challenge.
I also lead a group in discussions each week about the principles of Napoleon Hill (“Think Grow Rich”) and other great thought leaders. This is a forward-thinking, positive group from around the world is taking action to make their life, relationships, health, wealth and happiness the best they can be.
I am a long time regular gym member, run several days/week. I’ve white-water rafted, zip-lined, hiked, para-glided, climbed Mt. Whitney and set foot in all 50 states (and 8 countries.) I enjoy the outdoors but don’t want to paint the picture of a guy who lives in a tent….just an urban guy who likes nature.
I’m also a fiction writer, working on a novel called “Pacing the Cage” and hope to finish it this year. And I have been a public speaker for many years and a long time member of Toastmasters International.
I love film (Daniel Day-Lewis-my fav), theater( anything Broadway musical), dining (Thai-fav), art (Impressionism-fav) and most music(from old school R R to jazz to pop. (A lot to cover here and “it depends” is sometimes a good answer to “what kind.”)
I enjoy being silly and guarantee I can make you laugh without tickling you. I'm an old Saturday Night Live fan.

I am blessed that they are in my life and we love to be together. My step-daughter and her family live in Portland and just got back a month ago spending time with them. I am trying to plan a trip to France and new areas of Italy for later this year. I enjoy great restaurants, good movies and theater as well as reading all sorts of books. I’m looking for a woman that likes to travel, enjoys life and has a great attitude (glass half full).
I believe the best is yet to come, and go with the flow of things by trying not to take myself too seriously. I do look at the humor in many of things that I encounter and laugh a lot about the absurdities of this world. I am very considerate of people and am attracted to people that have a kind heart. I am afraid to retire again because I have a feeling I will fail again. I will be able to stop working those if I can find someone to share the rest of my life with. It's difficult to go out and travel by yourself. At least it is for me. I have a lot to offer the right person. I like to have a glass of wine. The answer that was available makes me look like a souse, but the truth is a glass or two a day according to the doc, ain't so bad. I like to tease and laugh but no teasing that is hurtful. The couple woman I have met were sweethearts. Very nice people. I have been very candid about myself and hope that she would also be that way. There is much more I could say about myself that is positive but they would mostly be lies. I get along with my ex and her husband and everyone I ever dated. That may speak for itself. Well, if you are super, I am looking forward to speaking with you. God bless all those that put one photo of themselves and 10 of the dogs and cats. They are nice but do not really show who you are except that you love animals, as I do. I have had as many as 5 cats at one time and two large dogs, so needless to say I like them but would rather see you. Scenary is nice but,hmmm, is that you in the far pasture? Couldn't tell. Oh and don't forget we men are weird. Okay, I know you knew that but what I am getting at is your photos with men. On the beach, on a couch, driinking beer and laughing at a luau. We kinda like to think that is not an ex, so give us a nice lie and say it's your old uncle Jim or something like that. We are very insecure creatures. Time to light the fireplace.If you read this far I will tell you Spring Valley is where I live and it is near San Diego.
