I love Eckart Tolle, Joseph Campbell, Thich Niat Hahn. I like nonfiction...I just discovered a new book called Journey of Souls, by Micheal Newton Ph.D that is actual stories of people under hypnotism, seems to discover what happens to people when they die. A subject that has always fascinated me but this book seems quite authentic. Although Photography/Artist is my first love, psychology has always been equal or a close second. Personal growth and understanding of the actions of others has always fascinated me.
I love all types of good music, especially Beatles, 60's, 50's, world music....on and on...love live music.

Raised in England, I came here for grad school and stayed – well for 20 odd years before spending seven years in Europe then returning to the Bay Area. While hardly a Brit, Americans still hear an accent, but I retain that quirky, dry,sense of humor percolated with Groucho's irreverence.
I am spiritual, grounded and clean up nicely when required ... there's a tux in the closet ! I love to cook, professionally on occasion, and will gladly for you! Ex-real estate professional though never a broker, social profit now means way more to me than economic. Over the past 15 years I’ve dabbled with several non-profit ventures and am now building a project that brings exercise to people living with serious & chronic illness. Also involved in an �export-import’ biz that has taken me to Istanbul a couple of times but is temporarily (we hope) a casualty of the global recession.

Some time ago I read an article in the NY Times in which a woman said that all she absolutely required in a man was that he have a passport and a library card. So, if we accept that as a bare minimum, I qualify. I grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania. I went to sea on a freighter when I was 16. I'm interested in writing and literature. I keep a picture of William Butler Yeats on my mantle, I've been to several of the Dodge poetry festivals in New Jersey, I'm devoted to the sonnets of Edna St. Vincent Millay, and I like watching even bad Shakespeare (for instance, DeCaprio as Romeo). I've read Huck Finn three times and it still makes me laugh. In recent years I've gotten increasingly interested in classical music. I've traveled to more than 80 countries. I'm a decent skiier and backpacker. I also like sailing, tennis, and softball. I flyfish, but I have a lot to learn. Several years ago I visited Rome for a month and visited again last year. I've been to Paris several times in the past five years, as well as Montana (flyfishing). Ask me about dawn on a trout stream in the Sawtooth Mountains. I have a motorcycle and a Jeep. I'm interested in art and I've visited most of the world's major galleries. I like to go to films and talk about them afterward. I'm better on what happened, why it was interesting and the way it made me feel than I am with the names of directors and actors. There are other things. Maybe we could talk about them. I think the idea of this is that you meet someone new, you get to know each other, and each makes the other feel good about themselves. Beyond that, I'd like to meet someone with personal range.
