Date someone special from San Luis Obispo, United States. I am a young 59, with a positive and caring outlook on life. I am fit and active, have a great life and love where I live, but I'd like to find a like minded partner to enjoy life with. I have owned and operated my auto repair business for the past 30 years, and I have also hosted a weekly radio show about cars for the past 20 years. I enjoy what I do for a living, and take great pride in doing things by the golden rule. My friends might describe me as a nice jewish boy with a mischievous streak. I am adicted to bicycle riding(I ride 75-100 miles a week) l am not competitive about it, I just enjoy it for the outdoors and the exercise. I am a dog lover, and have 2 dogs. I enjoy movies, comedy, reading, NPR, CBS Sunday Morning, singer songwriters and folk music and 60's-70's, cooking, Asian food and Sushi. I am looking forward to the next chapter of my life, and I am looking for a friend/partner/lover/soulmate,
a woman that can understand how I might cry at a movie or a song, yell at my football team, roll on the floor with my dogs, and sing in the shower. Whoever you are, I am ready to cheer you, listen without judgement, laugh til we cry, and light up the night.
Meet a soulmate from San Luis Obispo, United States. I'm a retired USAF officer whose passion is my hobby of teaching people how to drive at the racetrack. I'm open and honest with everyone. Fitness is very important to me, but it's not a religion. I consider it to be preventative maintenance like brushing my teeth. I'm an early to bed and early to rise kind of guy, although I'll often take a nap after an early morning run, hike or swim. I'm probably guilty of arrested development, as evidenced by my love of cars and 60s bubble gum music. I'm very happy to be able to live on the Central Coast with it's perfect weather, gorgeous scenery and laid back lifestyle. I'd like to find someone to share my interests with and in turn teach me about things that interest them. I'm very fit, take no medications, have no vices, pay my own bills, have no debt and do my own cooking and cleaning. I'm looking for someone within 10 years of my age who is fit enough to run 5 miles with me on Sundays and hike briskly up Bishop Peak on Thursdays. You pay your own bills because that's fair and share affection because you enjoy it, not because you expect to be rewarded. I'm searching for a teammate, not a cheerleader.

Meet a man from San Luis Obispo, United States. FYI - these are Halloween costume photos, in case you wondered - styrofoam nose, optional. LOL The moustache has been shaved and the top hat & tails was a rental.
Casual energetic guy who works too much and needs to relax and play more. Enjoy playing golf, shooting pool and watching most sports.
Looking for a dance and/or golf partner who wants a relaxed relationship for social situations.
Date someone special from California, United States. Hello there, and welcome to my life… thanks for stopping by to take a peek. I wish I could hand you a glass of Chardonnay through your computer screen, and perhaps softly kiss your other hand. Wouldn’t that be nice?
Back in the real world, I feel my biggest attributes are honesty and optimism… I never serve up a line of BS, ever, and often take people aback with my candor and frankness… and I’m one of the most cheery, happy, upbeat and optimistic people you’ll ever encounter… Walt Whitman once said, “To me, every hour of the light and dark… is an unspeakably perfect miracle.” I love that outlook…
I’m wishing to avoid listing all the cool things that romantic couples like to do because they’re kinda self-evident, aren’t they? Believe me, I love walks on the beach, candlelit dinners and snuggling to a glowing campfire as much as the next guy…
I’ve been an entrepreneur for two decades now because I love running the show, reaping all the rewards and enjoying the incredible freedom it allows me… I haven’t answered to a boss in 25 years and can basically do anything I want anytime of the day or night, except when picking the kids up after school… and yet I love what I do for a living, it’s also my hobby. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and I are all college dropouts (grin)…
My business website has a lot more about me, including lots of YouTube videos of me talking, which I’ll be happy to reveal to you in our first email (it’s not allowed here). I won’t be the least bit offended at you checking me out further before we talk…
Just because I don’t do something yet doesn’t mean I wouldn’t like to try it… I have an overreaching curiosity about the world around us; discovering and learning new things is a great way to stay young and vital. Only an open mind can learn and grow, and “I don’t know” remains one of the most powerful answers you can give…
Yes I have three teens in high school, all still in the pre-driving, pre-dating, pre-drinking and pre-drugging stage (lordy lordy, run for the hills)… But I’m not looking for a new Mom for them, not for a while anyway. Just don’t get annoyed if I accidentally call you “dude”…
The great Thomas Edison once said, “We don’t know one millionth of one percent about anything,” and I couldn’t agree more… that includes you about me, me about you, and us about life…
Since we’re all trying to sell ourselves in three minutes, here is some fun stuff I’ve done with my career that we can yak about over coffee… I was a Contributing Editor for Rolling Stone magazine for seven years… have been quoted in the Los Angeles Times over 100 times plus appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Vogue, Playboy, USA Today, NPR radio and CNN-TV as an authority on the music business… I don’t collect autographs but my career “handshake list” is a fun one that includes Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Axl Rose, Bono, Madonna, all of CSNY and R.E.M., Keith Richards and Joni Mitchell. Don’t be too impressed, any veteran music journo has such a list, but every one has a fun little story behind it. And you’ll never guess who was the warmest & friendliest…
As a hobbyist, I’ve had my artifacts displayed in eight different museums worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles and Paris… The Journal Plus (Magazine of the Central Coast) did a two-page article on me back in March, be happy to send you the URL… and I’m the stadium and gymnasium announcer for several local high school sports. Heck, come watch me announce a game and I’ll never know you’re there, I’m cool with that…
I’m looking for companionship, conversation that’s smart, flirtatious and/or silly-funny, intimate moments, the sharing of good food and drink, and quiet interludes along with rollicking fun activities. Are you down with any of that? If so, I look forward to hearing from you. (smile)
Meet a soulmate from California, United States. I am one who enjoys family, laughter, trying to maintain balance in life and being active. There are times to be serious and times to not take things so serious. Travel, sports and outdoor activities are what I enjoy and would like to share. I try to stay informed about what's going on in the world both for business and personal interest. I like learning about new things and want to continue to grow with a companion in life.
