I have learned a lot about myself and others and I wish you all well. Time is short. Life is fast. It will be over before you know it. And, it is all perfect just the way that it is. I love naturally pristine outdoor places and I am fortunate enough to have the land, the time and the money to enjoy them with a beautiful woman who is(or could be) truly comfortable in primitive settings. I'm in excellent physical shape and plan on retiring from the Long Beach Fire Department this year. I have an incredibly-thoughtful and responsible 21-year-old son who lives with his mother in San Juan Capistrano and goes to Saddleback College. And, I am lucky enough to have a ranch off Hwy. 74--the Ortega Hwy.--(the other properties are in N. Cal., S. Oregon, Washington"San Juan Islands" and Hawaii). Meanwhile, back at the Ranch, I have two large and well-behaved dogs, two horses and 100 acres to share with the right woman.
So much for my world, my desires and my plans. I am not opposed to compromise or to the possibility of falling madly "in love" with a woman walking another path and sharing in her world, her desires and her plans. As I am close to retirement, my parents gone and my son on his own, I am at a crossroads in my life.
