I wake up in the morning feeling some amazement that I have another day. I am inquisitive, philosophical, introspective, and wise. I observe what is going on around me and inside me. I love to learn. I am rather brainy, but I don't flaunt it (usually).
I can fix nearly anything. I really can. Except other people. I can't do that (although there are a few people I would like to experiment on). But around the house, I'm your 'go-to' guy.

I enjoy simple pleasures. Just rolling out a sleeping bag and sleeping on the back patio on a summer night is an incredible treat.
I love hiking, fly fishing, snow skiing, water skiing, bicycling, running, skating, windsurfing, camping, golf, and road trips. I love listening for owls at night or watching them nest in nearby caves. California Quail nest in the shrubs out front, and I enjoy watching them grow from chicks to adults. I speak California Quail, but Match does not have a check box for that language.
I love music. My mother was a piano teacher and my father played violin. I took piano lessons when I was young and have played on and off over the years. Mostly off I guess, but I have taken steps to change that. I am a musician in the sense that I love doing it. Right now I am working on a piano solo arrangement of "My Heart Will Go On". I enjoy attending live music performances (usually preceded by dinner at an interesting restaurant and perhaps followed by a few games of pool afterward).
Oh yeah. I almost forgot. I can wiggle my ears, and I like to sneeze!
I am interested in dating, which ideally will lead to a long term relationship. I want to share thoughts and ideas freely with my partner. I want to be with a woman who does not fear being challenged at times. My compatible mate will not feel threatened by my abilities, but rather, will celebrate them and welcome them into her life.
