Date someone special from United States. I'm a guy who likes to stay in shape and would like the same. I enjoy all types of movies. I like to walk my dog and would like to have her walk with me. I enjoy giving and receiving massages. I would like someone who is affectionate. Someone who I can trade off cooking with. Someone to do some travel with, but I'm not a huge traveller. Italy is on my to do lisit. Someone who can sit with me and people watch while we're drinking a glass of wine.

Everybody has a past and things in my past has profoundly changed my outlook about how I want to spend my remaining days on this earth. So I look at life through a different pair of glasses now. I have learned the importance of living in the moment and enjoying what we have today because tomorrow is promised to no one. I love life and I am grateful for everyday I am alive.
So what kind of guy am I?
Professionally, I am a senior level IT Technical Professional with old school values, knowledge, ingenuity, and methodical analysis and troubleshooting skills. I have a can-do attitude, and I am ambitious, motivated, and a self-starter. I am always ready, willing, and able to rise to the challenge.
Personally, I’m somewhat of a nomadic wanderer who loves to travel in his RV and enjoy the gifts of Mother Nature. I lived in Alaska for 30 years and did extensive exploring of the Alaskan Canadian wilderness, so this is still very much a part of me. I love new journeys, but I'm not the type of guy who likes to journey alone. I enjoy having that special someone take that walk with me down unknown paths and share those special moments and experiences. It would be nice to meet someone who also shares my interest and dreams. The lyrics from the song and movie “Moon River” (Breakfast at Tiffany's, 1961) sums up this part of my life “Two drifters off to see the world...There's such a lot of world to see!”
Other than having that nagging wandering spirit that still possesses me, I’m also a family loving guy with great-grandchildren who enjoys music, loves to dance, enjoys some sports, love to discuss life issues, bicycling the trails, and love to laugh and have fun. I’m also a hard-core news junkie. I have to watch all 3 national networks in the evenings even though they all are basically saying the same thing. I’m well-organized, a good housekeeper, and a good handyman with his own tools. Ladies, I can fix anything in your house...except your kitchen sink! (lol) I'm somewhat of a fair listener, slightly opinionated (not pushy and everyone has an opinion on something), have strong moral values, and I believe in commitments, loyalty, and trust.
So what am I looking for in a partner?
I'm looking for that special woman to do my final dance with. One who connects with me and I with her. Someone who wishes not to be alone for the time we have left on this earth; someone who resonates with my perspective on life and living. We WILL travel, have fun, and see the world together.
I need a woman in my life to travel and explore the unknown with; go camping rv'ng with; bike ride the trails with; do long walks on the beach with; get into mischief with; go to the movies with; go dining, ballroom dancing (YES!), and night clubbing with; go through the good times and bad times with. I’ve just brought some roller skates lately and have now started skating on the boardwalk on the beach. It’s still not pretty or elegant yet, but I’m getting there. It’s very good exercise if you have not done it for years. I’m inspired by couples much older than me skating on the beach. Would be wonderful if I could find a woman who has not forgotten this childhood skill and would like to start doing it again. Life is a gift and is meant to be shared with a partner.

My Bucket List top items are: Visit all the national parks (I’m an outdoors kind of guy); Galapagos Islands; Ancient Latin American Civilizations; Brazil (I want to get down there one day during Carnaval rio de janeiro mix it up with the locals dance the night away doing the Argentine Tango!); The pyramids of Egypt; Israel; other European countries; of course all of the fun in the sun far off island places.... I’m not greedy, just needy! Lol.
Life may not always be the party we thought it would be, but while we're here, we might as well dance!
