Date someone special from California, United States. 4,000 words! yikes! Not that writing that many words scares me. (I did publish a 144 page book just 2 years ago). It's just that writing that many words about myself is a little challenging. If you were to ask me, I would have plenty to say about all the amazing experiences life has brought my way, about my 2 awesome kids, about how it feels to be alive. It's just that I'm a bit Taoist when it comes to talking about myself. You know, those that know, don't say, and those who say, don't know. But in reality, this is no time to get hung up on being a bit shy.
I have learned how powerful it is to stay in a committed relationship with someone, do the work that comes up, and grow to depths you might think we humans aren't capable of going. Before I had my kids, I lived a pretty sweet single life, full or travel, life styles, (from cowboy to ballet dancer, artist to bookstore owner), and pretty much choosing to do whatever I wanted. But now, I realize that there is a fulfillment much deeper than just always thinking, acting, and living with only yourself to consider.
I am looking to share life with someone who is thankful to be alive. Someone who can find the beauty of what they see, what they experience, and what is brought into their life. And still real enough to be able to laugh at ourselves and the craziness and sometimes absurdity that life brings.
I am a family man, who loves to be out in nature, or roaming the back streets of the city, or cooking dinner and then reading a book while sipping a glass of wine or a cup of tea. And I'd like to find someone to share those times with.
