I am a fun loving 62 year old man (I was close to 59 when I first signed on to this web-site), who does not take life too seriously, but yet I am full of compassion for people who are on the outside looking in at life. I am sensitive to a fault sometimes, and do not like to hurt, or be hurt. I would like to go out with someone to lunch, dinner, movies, and then see where it goes from there. I am a giver, and not a taker. But I do not like takers, who do not give back. More often than not, I like to go a bit further in the give department. When I meet someone, I look mainly at the heart. Looks are nice, but a good heart is tops with me. I am a good listener, and offer suggestions when asked. I am open to suggestions as to what to do when seeing someone, and offer when asked. Its fun to discuss plans, or just do spur of the moment things. I love to cruise in a 1955 Chevy two door hardtop which I fixed up and just had repainted, and reupholstered, enter in car showswhere I like to meet people, and make new friends. I also have a 1996 Mustang Saleen I bought. I have an aquarium with salt water fish that I like to tend to, and it offers good down time looking at the happy fish going about their business of giving me good moments of quiet solace, when things don't go the right way which happen to everybody. I like to dance, but do not like the bar scene. I would much rather escort my date home after a nice evening meal, or movie, or cruise, and dance to our kind of music. I like soft music, oldies, smooth jazz, and music to hug by. Let the evening flow music. Loud music, or rap is not music. I like to surprise a special one with flowers, chocolate berries, etc. I am not a jealous type, nor do I like jealous types. I do not do anything for a person to mistrust me, as I am totally honest. I hope to find someone who agrees with me, but not totally with my interests. Its good to disagree on certain things. That leaves things to be discussed.
I make the greatest guacamole from an old recipe you will ever taste. I have many former co-workers which will attest to that. I make enchiladas, chile rellenos, tacos, tamales, etc., all from the bottom up. Learned how to cook from Grandma, and Mother, as well as my Aunts. So lets get cruisin, then cookin, but I can also cook other dishes which are non Mexican. I should have run a restaurant.
