Date someone special from La Mesa, United States. I have now been widowed for five years after a 34 year marriage and with the exception of my wife have not been on a date since 1972. This internet dating is new for me, and not too sure about it. I own a small business and starting in 2013 would like to cut back working to just a couple days a week. Unless I win the lottery (I spend $5.00 a week on it) I will probably have to work a couple of days a week for a long time, but then in a way that will be good as I cannot just sit and do nothing. I’m not going to be able to travel the world, but would like to see some of the United States and maybe take a couple of road trips and it would be nice to have someone along. I use to take a cruise every spring and have not been on one in over three years and look forward to taking one, but again it would be nice to have someone to go with me. I went to Las Vegas for three days in January 2012, but I don’t really gamble much, did a lot of people watching and I did not go to any shows as I don’t like to go alone. I have two wonderful kids, both who were born on the same day five years apart, and my son is 36 and married and my daughter is 31 and just got married the last week of May 2012. So far I’m not a grandfather.
I’m not looking to get married again. Not looking for anyone who smokes as I have lost my wife, father, sister and mother-in-law to smoking and I don’t want to go through that again. I gave up the habit 14 years ago. I’m looking for someone to go out to dinner with, maybe a movie although I have not been in a movie theater in probably 15 years, someone who likes to go to street and county fairs and in general just enjoy each other’s company, and someone to talk to.
