Meet someone special from United States. When I think of myself, one of the first traits that comes to mind is an endless sense of curiosity. That phrase "sponge for knowledge" seems apropos here; being in a book club, trivia group at the local pub, attending liberal church "lectures" and services/meditations, getting info from PBS, the New Yorker, etc. all fit this picture. And knowledge of self is balanced with understanding the human condition, as much as this is possible..

I also think of myself as very expressive and communicative, as these are the basis for growth and health in a relationship(?) Keeping those channels of communication open is so important, and I'd want this to be very mutual.

I balance this mental activity with physical exercise, loving tennis, walks, bike rides, and forcing myself to the gym.. quite often I do have a relatively short attention span! Don't want to spend an inordinate amount of time
texting, twittering, facebooking, etc., when I have more interpersonal options. I can be pretty "old-fashioned" when it comes to conformity to new technology. I tend to want to keep things, and life, simple; quite challenging in this society, eh?
