Date single man from United States. I used to think that I was indestructible, physically and emotionally. Now that I'm older, I have learned to appreciate that I am just as fragile as most others. I'm fun, sensitive, smart, and easily entertained. I live alone, in the Central Sierras a few miles from Yosemite. I am a youth and family therapist, retired from working for a small, local school district. I would love to meet a good woman with a good heart who is kind and willing to share; someone with whom I could laugh and play and share my life. I love to read, cook, walk, water ski, talk, travel, and watch great movies and live performance art. I love sports, am very good with animals (I grew up as a working cowboy), and I love children of all ages. I have 2 grown daughters who are the best and my youngest is still my best buddy. I am an avid kayaker and love to be outside. I want to meet someone who would love to travel the world with me, laugh and play a lot along the way, grow old with, and look after. I am capable and responsible, dependable and loyal, and take a lot of pride in being an honorable person and a good friend.I would love to meet a woman who is secure, self-assured, and fun; assertive and confident but not aggressive or hard. I would love to spend some time with a person who knows when to be soft and affectionate, loves the country, has a sense of humor, loves children, enjoys laughing at just about anything, and doesn't take herself (or life) too seriously.
