I love swimming and swim 3 days a week for exercise. I am hearing impaired I have a Cochlear implant with that I can hear great but
hearing isn't everything, I can see, touch, feel, and I have a very keen sense of what my partner, friends etc are feeling and thinking at any moment
I lost my partner to Ovarian cancer we had been together for over 44 years (our marriage wasn't perfect) we had to work together as a team to make it last which we did. We married 3 times in 3 different environments or churches!! the last time was on top of the world in Peru on top of Machu Picchu by a Inca Shaman on our 25th year of life together , what a fantastic experience that was! so my religious beliefs are wide open and I respect all beliefs. I have 3 great children and 3 wonderful grandchildren close by and love to spend time with them.
Over the years I've learned life is very short we were sent here for a reason my belief is we're teachers I've learned so many things from so many people. I believe in taking each day as it comes and to be thankful for that day. I respect peoples independence, and their thoughts and feelings. AM I crazy very well could be !!! but I try very hard to love life, and to respect other people I'm very sentimental, and caring! do I cry? men I was told don't cry but I do cry and I'm proud that I can show my feelings.
I'm not sure what else to say so I'll leave this the way :0) who am I looking for a friend someone that I can talk to that will listen to what I have to say and someone that I can listen to spend time together do a little traveling enjoy each other! from there who knows????

I’ve been skiing since I could walk (almost). I get a great joy out of my time on the slopes and would love to find someone to share it with. I currently work as a ski instructor at Kirkwood--been teaching for 20 years. I'm a great instructor--patient, non-judgmental, upbeat and positive . Care to take a lesson? Or better yet take a tour of the mountain? If you're a good skier I'll show you some of my secret stashes!
Just bought a place in South Lake Tahoe. OK house, but the lot is spectacular! Check out the pics. I intend to spend much more time up at the Lake. It's where I'm really at home.
I should let it be known that I’m not a total ski bum. In my real job (reality, oh no!) I’m a computer consultant. I also grow organic walnuts and live out in rural southern Sacramento County. If I had to have a word to describe myself and my tastes it would be eclectic.
Travel should be an adventure. My idea of cruising is to charter a sailboat and explore the Aegean isles. Or how about Patagonia?. Or sailing, hiking, skiing New Zealand? The list is endless, but I want to take the road less traveled.
Love the adventure of the local arts scene. Have been found at the Sacramento Theater Co, Music Circus, blues, jazz concerts.
