Meet a man from Laguna Niguel, United States. Well-educated, well-read, well-traveled, professional, gentle, kind, open-minded, careful, discreet, and (I hope) humble gentleman. Reasonably fit, I am losing weight and being pretty disciplined about a healthy diet.
Divorced about 10 years, I live alone and spend too much time by myself. I haven't minded that until earlier than expected retirement from an international travel position. I still love to travel and explore/experience new destinations, cultures, societies, and histories. I am not multilingual, but I am definitely multi-cultural.
I am at the top of my professional game, enjoy teaching and advising business clients. I also enjoy mentoring, no matter the age of the "mentee".
My musical tastes are eclectic, from folk and country to classical. A "child of the 60's", I am grateful for living in several very interesting decades, and the best is yet to come.
I have been thinking that I spend too much time as a "hermit". I don't entertain, don't have an active social circle (world travel took its place), and I need to "get out more".
I have committed the rest of my life to making others smile and laugh, to feel just a little better about themselves and life, whenever possible. I have an optimistic and positive attitude about life, good health, and can "fix" my personal flaws with the right motivation.
My 32-year-old daughter was married last August, and lives back home in Colorado. I come originally from a small town in the mountains of Colorado, am fortunate to have had an excellent education, and never imagined I would have the experiences and exposure that I have enjoyed through work and travel.
I think we are all better off with a companion. I admire and respect women and devote myself to pleasing more than seeking pleasure, to seeing to another's comfort more than to mine.
This is the best chapter of my life, and I want to share it.
