Shortly before I left Boston in December, a friend wished me a merry Christmas and a happy new _life_. That is my perspective. I'm pretty much at the end of my role as an employee and as a custodial single father. My youngest is finishing up college and my older daughter has given me a granddaughter. I have retired from full-time employment and I am thinking about what to do with the rest of my life in a place I consider wonderful.
I have spent the last 20 years principally as a father and want to spend my remaining years as a friend, lover, traveler, good man, and, yes, father and grandfather. I have been blessed with great kids and friends, but I long for a partner with whom I can share interests and passions. And a care giver for an aging parent that takes a lot of my time. I am lonely and would like to have a great friend and companion. I have two koi ponds and live on an acre witch takes up a lot of my time. However I would like to make time to develop a new relationship.
