I am the mother of the world's most talkative 10-year-old boy, who keeps me laughing and makes my life so much fun. I'm so proud and lucky to be his mom.

I love being around people who make me think and ponder and laugh about life. I'm a pretty grounded person and would describe myself as low-maintenance -- definitely not into relationship drama. I love hanging out with my family, and I'd rather be surrounded by a few close friends who know me really well than be in a room full of random acquaintances.
I am making a midlife career change and getting my teaching credential. I've completed all the coursework and just finished my second semester of student teaching in a second grade classroom. Currently I am subbing here and there and I hope to have my own class next fall.
