I am now a business owner. I work very hard, but I was profitable the first year. The company is growing and doing well. People around me understand that my business is a priority – I am in a people business and me being available can have a significant impact.
I was born in India and grew up in Brazil. Not many people with my background around. I actually didn't know I looked Indian until I came to the US for college. I blended well in Brazil, and I consider it home.
I've done quite a bit of volunteering - as a board member (and president of the board) for a theater company, webmaster for a couple of organizations, yearbook editor for one school, email communications person for 2 other schools, and I coached my daughter's soccer team for 6 years (and team mom for my son's teams and any team I haven't coached). I stay busy, though I have cut back on the volunteering now because I am so busy with the business and I still want to have a life :-)

I enjoy all kinds of activities...sports of many kinds, walks on the beach, going to the theatre or a museum, am willing to try almost anything once, perhaps even twice...I love traveling, whether it be the US or other countries. I truly do enjoy a lot of things...not just saying that just sound good. I have a variety of experiences in different things.
