I am a very down to earth woman. I like to go out to dinner once in a while and going out on the weekend would be nice. I prefer to watch a movie at home and be comfortable. Although I can be a bit shy at first, once you get to know me, watch out! I might not stop talking. I am not looking to serial date, but I'm looking for a great relationship and I know the man of my dreams is out there. If you are not really sure if you are over your last relationship, then you aren't. I am looking for someone who is actually available to go out - after work for a drink or dinner - take a relaxing drive on Saturday or Sunday and how about having lunch together during the week?
I am originally from Iowa and grew up on a farm. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 18 (also got married at 18.). I have an 18 year old son from my first marriage and my son lives with me. I bought a house in June 2011 and I have been working on it ever since. I've become something of a handy"man" and really like it. When I'm not working on my house, I'm volunteering with a dog rescue group or with the city animal shelter. "Must love dogs" should probably be my main heading. I don't trust anyone who doesn't like dogs. However, I am not the crazy dog lady. I also like classic cars and enjoy car shows. This makes up for my dislike of watching sports.
I am the most unphotogenic person alive, so I don't have a lot of photos of myself but I'll work on that.
I'm an insurance consultant and work in different offices during the week. I like my job and it allows me time to still have a life. I am training to walk a marathon in Santa Barbara in September, so that's what's keeping me busy lately.
