I recently moved back to San Diego after spending 4 years in Portland. I realize that San Diego is my home even though I was born and raised in Oregon. I have a new found appreciation for living in this paradise.

Athletics have always played a role in my life as a player, manager, or a coach. I grew up playing softball and basketball, and then went on to coach up to a high school level. After quite a few knee surgeries over the years, I am back to feeling healthy, and exercise nearly daily. And, yes, I am one of those women who are as comfortable in their athletic shoes (of whatever sort) as I am in my array of 4-5" heels :-)
Travel has been a lifelong necessity, and seems to bring a level of clarity, even on a day trip. Some of my favorite places include Sedona, AZ, Paris, and Siena, Italy. I was born and raised outside of Detroit. Spent some time in DC, and lived in Vegas for over 15 years. According to my sister, I was a showgirl, then a lap dance instructor. My actual occupations fell under management & training for major hospitality corporations, and I owned my own crystal design company for quite a few years. After spending years in the hospitality industry, I seem to know my way around the kitchen, a wine cellar, a cocktail/beer list, and most menus. Don't be fooled...I LOVE finding joints and dives.
My girls mean the world to me, though I keep a balance of being a mom and a woman. I must admit I did have a hard time trading in my Mustang GT for an SUV. As for a relationship, I am looking for an equal. Someone who has a passion for life and everything they do. Someone who lives a life of honesty and integrity.
