I consider myself playful and fun spirited! Like most people, I love the outdoors and the spontaneous idea of a quick road trip with sunroof open wide while cruising PCH to my favorite tunes is high on my list. I do appreciate a man with old-fashioned values such as when he opens car doors for me, but I am not a princess. In fact, I am quite independent as I am self-employed and work very hard (my job is physically demanding part of the time) but I do prefer and know how to play hard, relax and replenish too.

I try not to take anything in life for granted and have a great appreciation for the things that I do have such as running hot water (especially now that my cold water runs too light lately and the opposite effect is taking place - ha ha). That said, I've become much more aware of my diet and have become an animal advocate the last 3 years. I question the process of how meat arrives on my(your) plate and support local farmers market. I'm not a vegan nor a vegetarian (yet) but I greatly respect those who are (and do not require it of my partner but is sure would be cool). It's a process. I'd like to think I have an open mind and I realize that we humans have a condition called "compartmentalizing." Awareness is key!

I know so many woman don't tell their real age and maybe I'm a fool for being so honest but since I've always been told I look a lot younger than I am, I see no reason to lie. I'm a kid at heart that loves to play in the snow or gets excited when Peppermint Stick ice cream is available in December but I'm grounded and mature and take life's issues seriously (with humor thrown in whenever possible).
I love traveling whether for business or personal. My favorite trips had always been to interesting cities with culture and plenty to do though after recently taking a trip to Cabo I realized laying around with a fruity drink and and mindless magazine was not too shabby. I appreciate nice things but I have no problem working hard to get them, I don't expect anyone to hand it to me. It makes it that much more rewarding when you know you earned it.
What am I looking for? Someone kind, real, down to earth that has an amazing sense of humor and love for life. An optimist though grounded and not too granola :-).
