I'm a mom first...and take this role seriously by actively participating in my son's activities and spending quality time with them. I'm a professional in my current career for the past 18 years. My Christian faith is important to me. I'm not a religious judgmental sort of Christian...but more of an everyday person living life with a foundation of good morals, values, honesty and integrity. My faith is more spiritually not so much rigid religion. Of course I make mistakes and not always the best choices, but I do have a strong character and looking for the same foundation in the man I spend time with.
I'm a down to earth gal that was raised on a ranch. I know how to work hard, have fun and take risks! Although I was raised on a ranch I also get along just fine in the city. So I can honestly say that I can go from blue jeans to a little black dress and be comfortable either way.
I'm not afraid to try new things...I've jumped out of airplanes, scuba diving, hiked Yosemite, river rafting, horseback riding & much more! I enjoy riding as a passenger on a motorcycle, long or short day trips. It's also fun to just jump in the car and head out for site seeing and new adventures. As long as it is with someone I care about the quality time spent together is priceless!
My hobby is making stained glass in my workshop...you can see a pix of a resent project. I enjoy the creative side of life. Running is a new passion I try to run in a race every month.

Date a woman from California, United States. I think the most important thing in life is to have passion. Passion for what you are doing, who you are with and every other little aspect in life. I was raised in Germany and most of my family is still there. I have focused my energy on building my business and raising my girls. I believe balance is a key ingredience to having a successful and happy life. I am at home in a small town environment and probably would get lost and feel suffocated in a big city. So I stay mostly out of the concrete jungle and enjoy a coastal playground of beach, redwoods, and a 1 mile commute to work.
I enjoy many sports but am a hockey die hard. I cruise on my Honda shadow and enjoy the motorcycle scene. I sail in the Wednesday night races and love being on or in the water anywhere. I am a little old fashion and think that there is nothing sexier than when a man respects a woman and shows some chivalry. That is not to say that I don't enjoy a little edge to a man's personality. I use humor in every aspect of my life and have no problem laughing at myself. I try not to judge other people and honesty, integrity and a good work ethic are so important to me. One of my favorite sayings is that 'There is great strength in weakness and much weakness in great strength'. I am an independent, strong woman, but I have no problem resting my head on a supportive shoulder. It is important to have an equal in a relationship and support each other while still allowing enough space for individual growth.
I love to entertain and have friends over for a BBQ or dinner party. I am at home in a cocktail dress and formal occasion, or in jeans and a hockey jersey sipping on a Guinness watching a game. I am a very easy person to hang out with and have mostly guy friends as I can't stand the high maintenance and pettiness I see in a lot of woman. I travel often and have a timeshare in Maui and Cabo that are annual destinations. One of my most favorite spot is Venice, Italy. I am attracted to any kind of water, and I think that is why Venice has such a special appeal. The thought of a city surrounded by water with no cars just seems like heaven.
I am not a serial dater and the notion of dating is a difficult concept for me in general. I think the online environment is like window shopping. Of course you don't know if something is going to fit or have the right feel unless you have the courage to actually try it on. I will be in Germany taking care of my parents until August 20th and have limited access to wifi...but then some things are worth waiting for :).
