You will also see me walk 4 miles to work, but rarely 4 miles on a treadmill. I use the gym at work, but only when it rains. If I have a chance to be outside, I'll take it. I'd rather dig a flower bed or tote a wheelbarrow of pressed wine grapes than use weight machines. And I carry a camera everywhere to capture the beauty of the coast. I am originally from the Great Lakes and have only lived in California for 6 years. So I have only begun to explore. Now I am looking for a partner in this adventure. I will warn that I often stop to photograph birds (and I usually have my Sibley's bird guide close by) and plants (I have a penchant for horticulture, too).

After I signed up for Match.com I realized that because I was interested in people on the Monterey Peninsula, the service thought I currently live there...I'm actually in the DC area, but my roots and family are back in Pacific Grove. I've lived in a variety of locations, sometimes moving on my own, living overseas is a great experience. International travel is great, too. My favorite vacation is Hong Kong, although I haven't been there in a while. There are multitudes of places to see, and all kinds of people to meet!
