I love the outdoors, but also enjoy intellectual activities--reading, writing, movies (good ones), painting, discussing art and politics (no fist fights please.) I am a runner (run 6 to ten miles a day.) I was on the fencing team in college. LOVE WATER. Kayak and canoe. Dog mushing (lived in Alaska and Maine.) Cross-country skiing. Just finished my MFA degree from the University of Alaska. I wrote a pretty damn good book--now trying to sell it (whole new world.) I was a high school English tacher and operated my own accounting business. Supported myself by bartending while earning various degrees so I can prepare a finanical statement from a shoe box of receipts, correct any written document and make a pretty damn good martini. Oh, I'm a fiction writer so all interaction is game. I'll try anything once. Skydiving (did that.) Enjoy dining, conversation, meeting new people. Also sex. If you are out of the whole sex thing, I'm not your gal.
I have a daughter in medical school who is on her way to being a trauma surgeon.
