All kidding aside, I am just a hard-working and fun-loving girl trying to make the best out of every moment. I went to college with every intention of being a freelance artist and becoming a children's book illustrator. Somehow, life dealt me a completely different hand and I found myself involved with animation and entertainment. I work at a well-known children's toy company, working primarily with licensing and also developing a new TV show and webisodes based on our brands. My job is as rewarding as it is stressful. So, I have a tendency to put a lot on my shoulders and I sometimes need a reminder that life isn't all emails, paperwork, and meetings. Those times, I am grateful that I have an amazing group of friends to surround myself with. And booze. Thankful for friends and booze.
A little bit more about me, you ask? I'm very expressive in every sense of the word. I talk a bit faster when I'm excited, I gesticulate almost every word that I say, and I have always prided myself in being straightforward. I'm always the first person to make a joke at my own expense (see photo of myself trying to fit inside my brand new coffee table) and, admittedly, I'm a kid at heart. Despite that, I am pleasantly independent so I'm not looking to have someone take care of me. Sorry, I'm a 21st century kind of gal.
I have a wide variety of interests that I won't go into listing because who wants to read a ridiculous list (this spiel is long enough already)? In short, my hobbies and interests span from the typical (cooking, making music, crafting) to the slightly zany (chockfull of useless knowledge about Harry Potter and weird articles that I find on Wikipedia).
But don't think of me as a pimply-faced and greasy haired nerd that is never far from her pocket protector. I can assure you that I have really nice skin and my hair is feels lovely.
