Meet a girl from California, United States. I'm currently pursuing my Masters in Social Work with Animal Assisted Therapy at the University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work. I'm born and raised in Sebastopol, CA and home for the summer but will be heading back to Denver in August. I grew up outdoors, with animals, riding horses, and living a pretty alternative lifestyle in Sonoma County. I lived in Ireland for two years riding, training, and selling horses and going to school. I got my undergraduate degree from University of California, Santa Cruz in Anthropology. I worked in residential services for high-risk youth, which got me interested in social work and I realized the powerful impact animals can have on changing peoples lives. I love to travel and I'm very interested in cultural experience. I love the outdoors and nature and spend as much of my free time as possible riding horses, hiking, walking on the beach, camping, kayaking, etc. I love to go out with friends and have good conversation and laughter over a drink, dinner, or just coffee. I also enjoy a night of good music and dancing. Sometimes I enjoy just relaxing at home with a movie. My most important values are caring, supporting, and spending time with my family and friends; being a authentically genuine person; giving back to my community and the world; social justice; and the incredible human-animal bond. Currently, I'm looking for something casual but genuine.
