Meet a girl from Hermosa Beach, United States. I'm 25 and grew up in California, but half of my heart belongs to the Midwest. After being a California snob for 18 years, I decided to give the rest of the country a chance and turns out, I love it.
Being outside is one of my favorite things. Nature blows my mind. I've got great friends, but many live at least 1,200 miles away from me. I see them as much as I can. I typically don't drink, but I'm not against it. I love taking pictures, hand-written letters, cold weather, campfires, thrift stores, Rainbow flip-flops, freshly fallen snow, bright colors.
I have a heart for people and social services. I've got some crazy stories from my first two jobs after college, working with young teenage kids. They include (but are not limited to) punching, kicking, biting, shattered windows, dented cars, and many police calls. I have a quieter, more "normal" job now, but still have a big heart for people in need. I have yet to see where that takes me.
I'm looking for someone who can encourage and support what I love and who can receive motivation and encouragement from me. Someone open-minded, adventurous, and able to make me laugh. I appreciate honesty, follow-through, and spontaneity is definitely a plus. Though I will always be a work in progress, loving Jesus is my life's greatest purpose. It defines my perspective on life and people and how to love.

I'm Chinese Indonesian, but white washed. I was born in CA, grew up in the South Bay, now living with roommates in Hermosa Beach. I'm a very punctual person,, fun, outgoing but mainly a homebody, caring, understanding, romantic, funny, I laugh at everything, optimistic, thoughtful, laid back, easy going. I LOVEEEE country music. Rock and oldies come next (Favs are Alan Jackson, Rise Against, and the Beatles). I do enjoy rap, punk, and pop as well. I love going to the beach, watching and taking pictures of sunsets, playing volleyball, I go to X Games and the US Open of Surfing every year, like going dancing, going to the local bars. I really enjoy going to Vegas. When I do go out, I normally don't drink that much, I make sure everyone gets home safely, and no one steals our stuff, so in turn I'm normally the DD and I'm ok with that! I don't need alcohol to have a good time. I refuse, let me repeat, REFUSE to watch scary movies, I hate snakes and spiders. I really do go to the gym 3 times a week. I have my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, graduated in 2010 from CSULB. I work for full time for a skin care company, as an HR assistant. Part of the reason why I am a homebody is cause I like to save money, I want nice things in life, I want to buy a house and go on trips around the world, and you can't get there by spending money, but I do go out every once in awhile. I don't wear 10 pounds of makeup on my face, it literally (time me) takes me 1 hr to 1 1/2 to get ready (shower, shampoo, blow dry, flat iron, make up and get dressed). I don't know how to do fancy eye makeup, I'm NOT materialistic, the most expensive thing I own is a Coach purse which is really not that expensive compared to a Louis Vuitton. I'm not a girl who wears heels wherever I go, I think that is SO stupid on multiple levels, I wear sandals, even when it's raining. Jeans, tank top, and a sweatshirt (I'm ALWAYS cold). I am the epitome of the laid back beach bum life style and I just like to be comfortable. I only dress up dress up on occasion. I wish I could travel more. This was all over the place but I kept thinking of these randomly.
I want someone who wants a relationship too. I'm not here for a "let's be friends and just hook up" or whatever bs. I want something real, long lasting, genuine, relationship. Looking for someone who is somewhat the same... Likes going out every once in awhile, and likes staying home every once in awhile. Someone who is romantic, UNDERSTANDING, thoughtful, remembers the little things, and caring, BUT A MANLY MAN, AND CAN TAKE CHARGE WHEN NEED BE, funny, has manners, intelligent, who can carry on an intellectual conversation, punctual, athletic/in shape, funny, always positive, Someone who has their life together, meaning has a CAREER, (not talking about ballin rich just has a career, and has goals). Also someone who has common sense, cause a lot of people don't have it. If we fight, you may not agree with me but see my side and will compromise and not change me. Someone should change cause they want to for the other person not cause someone asks.

Laughing and enjoying life is a necessity. I'm a former wannabe thespian, but took the "safe route" and ended up in the marketing and advertising industry. Not gonna lie, I have 2 cats, but that doesn't mean that I don't like dogs...or all animals for that matter :)
I love to travel and wish I had more time to do so. I've had the same best friends for over 14 years. Somehow, we all ended up in the South Bay together and have had the time of our lives. Also, I hate the term, "LOL." Most of the time, you're not actually laughing out loud.
I love to laugh (who doesn't), listen to reggae, eat pasta (mac and cheese in particular), spend time outdoors, attempt to sing, dance (the shopping cart and robot are my go-to moves), and love life.
As for what I'm looking for, I'm still testing the waters on this thing and taking it slow, but basically someone I can laugh with and who doesn't take life too seriously. Someone who is not materialistic or superficial (which can be hard to find in LA). Don't get me wrong, I enjoy dressing up and getting my nails done every now and then, but I am also perfectly comfortable with no make up, dressed in my pajama jeans (I'm not kidding, I own a pair of pajama jeans). I was also raised with a very strong work ethic and to always save and invest your money...so that's pretty important too. Also, if you take a picture of yourself posing in a bathroom mirror, no matter how good you think you look, I will not want to be your friend. Can't do it. I'm sorry!
Places I've been/love: Dublin, England, Scotland, Paris, Wales, Germany, Italy, Australia (did a Summer internship there, and fell in love with everything about it), Costa Rica, Amsterdam, Switzerland, HAWAII.
Places I want to go: I just booked a trip to Jamaica for this summer. Very excited about that. Also on the list is Japan, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand, Machu Picchu...pretty much everywhere and anywhere.
