Date someone special from California, United States. I'm an old-fashioned kind of gal. I enjoy doing simple things in my spare time like watching movies, drinking cheap wine, listening to music, and reading, but nothing clears my mind more and opens up my spirit quite like Mother Nature and I would say I spend most of my spare time outside hiking and discovering new trails here in San Diego. Unlike most girls, I really hate shopping but I am a nut for thrift stores and swap meets. Traveling has always been very high up on my list of priorities- so far I've been to Italy and Brazil and I really hope God sees it in His will for me to see more of this beautiful world He created! I am very close with my family and they are a huge part of my life. I am the youngest of three children, my older brother and sister are both married with families of their own and I am absolutely crazy about my nieces and nephews- I love being an aunt!
What am I looking for in a fella? Well, Neil Young's "Heart of Gold" explains a lot of what I'm searching for in a mate. Other things I am looking for include a unique sense of style- I admit I tend to gravitate towards well-dressed boys in plaid shirts and Chuck Taylors with nice hair. Health is very important and I want a partner who takes care of himself by exercising regularly, showers on a daily basis, and eats healthy. I'd like to find a guy I can connect with on an intellectual level with common interests in things like books, music, art, and movies- if you like John Steinbeck and know what channel TCM is on, then you are way ahead of the game! I want someone with a good sense of humor and who can make me laugh, seeing as how I am fairly sarcastic and quick-witted myself. Confidence is important but so is humility. A partner who is respectful of others is an absolute necessity. Lastly, I love to learn/try new things so it would be really neat to find a guy who is can teach me a few things or two! Life is too short not to, right?
