I laugh almost as often as I breathe and although I work hard, I try not to take myself too seriously. Something about making the "little things" count. Humble enough to recognize nobody is perfect, (Yes, I too have a few MINOR flaws!) I did away with my "checklist" a few years ago. There's no requirement of standing 6'0 tall, smoldering eyes, a full lush head of hair, or a salary that exceeds 150k. In 50 years chances are you'll have shrunk an inch or two, be balding, and you'll have to spend that hard earned retirement on blepharoplasty. Character doesn't fade with time, a good man trumps a handsome man any day in my book.
Unlike my romantic cohorts, I don't want to "be one" with someone. Things would get awfully boring awfully fast! I'd much rather be a "dynamic duo."
