Date a girl from Santa Monica, United States. I grew up in Austin, and moved out here two years ago. I love living by the beach and play volleyball and softball on the weekends.
I like to stay active, but I'm not too competitive. I just ran my first half marathon in January and loved it. I like going to the farmer's market, riding my bike along the beach, and I also make a killer chocolate cheesecake.
I've also been peer pressured into hiking up a snow covered mountain and skiing down an area marked by a skull and crossbones warning sign. Slept in the Madrid bus station at 5 am? Yes. I'm pretty sarcastic and love all types of comedy. Some of my favorites things: Wes Anderson movies, apples and peanut butter, running along the beach, playing tennis, skiing, tacos (breakfast or regular), getting as many samples at Whole Foods as I can, reading multiple books at a time, and big dogs. I once tried to adopt a Mastiff after a Sunday Funday, but that is another story.

I'm a girly girl on the outside but in some ways a little tomboy on the inside. I love my dresses, my makeup, and my high heels but don't ever assume I have a girly girl personality. I am a lot tougher than I look. I assure you I am very small but very resilient. I'm never too pretty to get dirty and sweaty. In fact you'll find that I usually do the handy work around the house and all my own heavy lifting. You should see me use my power drill.
I'm brutally blunt and I often call it as I see it. I pride myself in being a rational, objective, honest, and partial person which men seem to think is impossible for a woman but it's true, we exist. Transparency is a MUST in any relationship so I keep it real but I expect the same candidness in return. I have thick skin and hardly take things personally so you can tell me you're just not that into me and I'll respect you more for having the balls to tell me so. ;-)

I don't care for flowers or gifts and I never want to own a diamond in my life. If I like a guy, all I want is his time and attention. I prefer to live my life as a minimalist and I don't get attached to material things. Never really cared for labels or trends. Life is much simpler and more pleasant when you're practical. I find that as I make more money, I stay frugal with myself but spend more money spoiling the people I care about

Date single girl from Santa Monica, United States. Hi there! My name's Emily. I'm originally from Texas but found myself in California three years ago. I work in PR way too many hours a week, but when I'm not working, I try to make the most of living in Santa Monica.
As much as I love LA, I miss Texas (northeast to be exact) almost every day. It's a beautiful place with really wonderful people. I also love SF, southern Wisconsin (don't judge), NYC, Northwest Arkansas (again, don't judge), Boston, Northern Ireland, Rome (!!!), London, and many other places. I hope to travel more soon, but with 10 vacation days a year, that becomes quite the challenge.
Most of my friends would describe me as sweet and kind. That may sound boring, but I still manage to balance the niceness with a fun sense of humor, personality and spunk. I think the nice part comes from my grandma, who is, without a doubt, a total angel, and the silly/funny side of me comes from my mom and dad.
Family means a lot to me. While they do have their quirks, I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Meet someone special from California, United States. How can I best describe myself? I guess I should start by saying that I recently moved to LA from new York City. Big change! That said, I'm super eager to meet new people and try out everything the west coast has to offer.
I love to do just about anything active - especially playing or watching sports. My favorites are volleyball and basketball, but I also love hiking, spinning, running, and I'm just starting to pick up tennis and golf.
