Date someone special from Artesia, United States. Whelp, here it goes again. I am not really used to talking about myself, so I am just going to wing it and hope that some out there enjoys honesty mixed with sarcasm.
My friends would describe me as loyal, fun, slightly geeky, intelligent, open minded and above all, real. I am very motivated and focused on obtaining my goals in life,and am looking for someone who is as well. I love basketball, and since I live in LA of course I am a Lakers fan; I also like to baseball, but like playing it more than watching it though. I also love to read, listen to music, and watch a good movie.
I try to keep up on current events in politics seeing as what happens in our government affect us so we might as well be aware of what is going on around us. My views on politics are more of a discussion to be had in person, makes life easier that way.
I am very family focused, I have quite a few siblings and of course my daughter who is my whole life.
I have goals in life and am driven to achieve them and have no desire to be someone's stay at home wife. I want someone who appreciates that and who has a goal of their own who I can help and support to achieve it and get that support in return. I want someone to build a life together with not someone to build it for me.
I like to just hang out in my free time, at the beach or a local sports bar; anywhere that doesn't require me to put on uncomfortable shoes is awesome. I will venture to the occasional 'dance scene" because I love to dance despite the fact I'm not really...how you say "good" at it.
As stated previously, I have been called a bit geeky from time to time. I tend to be what I call polite, but what my friends call overly proper using a lot of sir's and ma'am's on a daily basis.I also have a tendency to be overly apologetic when I'm nervous, ( I probably say "I'm sorry" to the server when I go to dinner at least 20 times, and this is even before appetizers) and I bow when I meet people. Not sure if it's a native thing but I honestly cannot help myself.

I live a somewhat active life. I work full time in the advertising industry--pretty stressful sometimes but I love it! I mentor so every other Saturday is dedicated to my mentee. I also enjoy catching up with my friends over coffee or a meal. I guess, I just try to live my life the best I can while trying to be the best person I can be.
