I like space. I like a person that doesn't suffocate me. One that doesn't need my approval for everything. A person that can stand on his own two feet. A person who is not afraid of making last minute plans (eg. Hey, let's grab the car and drive up to Big Bear. Right now.) A person that I can have a decent conversation with; be it about books, a TED talk, a documentary, an art show. I like people that are direct. If you want something, say it. If you no longer care, say it. If you don't want to, say it. Don't drag it out, don't waste my time. Respect yourself and have the courage to speak your mind.
I am very easy going. I won't demand naggingly for attention. I won't keep asking for a phone call. I won't text obsessively. However, I don't like "babysitting" people into my preferred actions. We either get along or, we don't.

Honestly I think it's hard to describe yourself, so here is what I think my friends would say about me. They would say that I am genuine, kind-hearted, and down to earth. To my embarrassment they would probably say my laugh is contagious and that sarcasm is the foundation of my humor. Those who know me, know that my perfect way to spend a day is at a bar watching football with my friends (although most of them know nothing about football). Of course my dad takes all the credit for my love of football. Go Buckeyes!!! Next they would definitely mention my love of movies. The truth is they wouldn't even know where to start. Any time they have a movie or TV related question I am the "go to person." My friends are always reminding me how impressed they are that I was able to turn my passion and knowledge for movies into a career. The truth is I wouldn't have it any other way. My roommate would tell you that I love curling up with a good book....or not good book...just any book. She's also spoiled because I like to cook. Italian cooking is just in the genes what can I say?

Meet single girl from Marina del Rey, United States. Hi there! My friends would describe me as a bubbly, outgoing and helpful person. In my job I work as a pediatric nurse and I love it. The kids are so resilient and teach me something new everyday, and they make me laugh which is an added bonus. I have a passion for helping others, specifically kids and spend some of my spare time helping out at a camp for sick kids. My life isn't all kids though haha, I do love the finer things in life. There's nothing better than a Sunday Fundays, going wine tasting, trying a new restaurant, making dinner with friends (normally grilling, it's my favorite), reading a good book or watching a good movie is always great too. If I had a never ending supply of money I would just travel! I love flying and road trips are always fun. So far my favorite places that I have been fortunate to visit are Fiji, New Zealand, and Australia. I want to hit up Italy, Greece, Thailand and India in the next 5 years. That might have to get put on the back burner though for a bit as I was just accepted to grad school and will be starting in the Fall with one class this summer. I'm looking forward to the challenge! Fitness has become a big part of my life lately as I have taken up spin classes 3 times a week and yoga twice a week along with just finishing my first 5k! :) Most importantly I work hard so that I can take the time off to go visit friends and family as we are scattered all over the place.
Decided to join match as I've had some friends have luck with it but also because I've found it hard to meet people.
