I believe in life, generally speaking, you get what you give. Meaning what effort you put in is directly in proportion to what you get in return. Meet people from California, United States. Hi! I am an animal lover, coffee aficionado, self-sufficient kinda woman! The last decade has definitely been a difficult but fortunately a growing experience. I can't complain because it's helped me to understand and I've learned a lot as well as discovered I am stronger than I thought. I have a wonderful small group of girlfriends who accept me exactly as I am. They describe me as opinionated, straightforward, honest and sarcastic... and I agree. Of course I love to travel, who doesn't? But, when I can't do big trips I make the most of southern Cali. I also love being home relaxing, reading, working on my hobbies, listening to music (gotta warn you, I like to sing out loud) and watching TV. I believe in being healthy but not in depriving oneself of all the yummy things the kitchen has to offer! I enjoy pilates, spinning, running but my favorite is power yoga. It's so relaxing. I also must do things with my pups. They are very active dogs and I like to keep them happy and healthy. But, most importantly, I enjoy being at peace. My life is simple, not very elaborate but I'm finally happy with it.
In the hope of an honest friendship/relationship I would like to add that I am in no hurry to rush into anything. I think it takes time to get to know someone really and honestly. I want something real, strong, founded, honest and secure- from there, well then anything may go. But, again, I'm in no rush. And since I am being honest I should also add that I'm not a crazy about sports. I've been mislead into thinking I have a high metabolism and thus have limited my active lifestyle to the occasional swims and tennis although I don't mind getting my heart rate higher than the occasional jolt as a result of highly caffeinated drinks (Blue Bottle, Ritual, Philz). I like to eat a variety of foods and could polish a burger in less than 5 mins (bad habit) and would like to improve my culinary skills - if I can develop more discipline like following a recipe. I'm obsessed with berries (blue, black, rasp, straw) and will try any fruit that looks exotic.
I like listening to a variety of music and have been listening to songs my sister loaded on my shuffle after giving her my usual excuse like I'm techno-challenged (aka lazy). I'm cursed with a disease called 'I can listen to a song over and over and not get bored', kinda like the common cold where there is no apparent antidote. By day, I'm a financial analyst with a defense contractor. I can get sucked into analyzing loads of data, pumping out reports, and performing audits. I like my job as it has the discipline that keeps my life in balance and affords me time to pursue creative pursuits. Don't judge a book by its cover although I've been known to collect Penguin Ink Deluxe Classics which doesn't give me time to finish my dragon painting that's collecting dust in the corner.
Other weird things about me - if you see a gal with long hair and tanned skin on a golf course that's a splitting image of me, it's not a figment of your imagination, it's just my twin. I secretly want to learn sign language. I love roasted golden/red beets,blood orange olive oil, and baguettes. I wish humans can harness the power of bioluminosity to communicate. I can get pretty silly and start mixing 4 different languages.

. I'm looking to get out and enjoy what's around me, have some laughs and meet new people. I'm not sure if this is the place to find that but it's where I'm starting! I'm not really sure how this thing works so I'm sure I will change this bio up soon.

. Strange how online dating has become so commonplace. Well here I go. It all started back on a small ranch 37 years ago.....Only kidding. I'll save that for the in person meet if you're so lucky. :) Overall I consider myself to be a pretty easy going person. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to have visited most continents. I like to be open to ALMOST anything as I think you learn so much about yourself that way. I have grown up playing sports, but my passion right now is my dance class, a must to the end of my workday. I'm looking for a friend, a companion and more. Being an only child, my friends are sooo important to me and are I really consider them to be my family along with my parents of course. I'm not a fan of playing games unless it involves a prize of course. The Bay Area stole me from So. Cal about ten years ago where my family still is, but the Lakers still have my undying support. I am not an LA hater by any means, but how could you not love San Francisco?? Aside from the Lakers, I will watch the occasional football and baseball game, but you won't find me plopped on the couch for six straight hours watching ESPN highlights over and over again. It's so much better in person anyways, beer, hotdogs, people watching...I think most things are better, even online dating.
