At work, I'm an engineer who somehow wound up an "exectutive" (no idea how that happened) managing a big team of engineers in multiple countries. I'm excessively analytical about almost everything. I love the fact that my job constantly brings me new problems to solve and makes me get better every day.
I've lived in Illinois, Minnesota, Texas, North Carolina, and California. I've always been willing to go where there was an opportunity to learn something new and get a new experience.
On vacations, I much prefer hiking or biking in the mountains or exploring a city I've never seen before. I need to have something to do.
I really like trying new restaurants but prefer low profile, quiet places. (I recently found the smallest Thai restaurant I've ever seen. It's basically a hallway with a kitchen. But it's good so I'm quickly becoming a regular.)

I am very lucky to have a wonderful career in the medical field, great friends, and a loving family. Plus two sweet little cats who make my day (no I swear, I'm not the crazy cat lady!) I have been fortunate to travel alot throughout Europe and have so many more places I would like to visit.
