While I was raising my kids I decided to take a class at the local highschool and became an althletic trainer. I played on a ladies softball team for 25 years and enjoyed Friday nights playing softball with some of my highschool friends. I always wanted to be prepared in case of an emergency so I taught CPR and First Aid for many years. I took a job as an Occupational Health nurse at a refinery and became a member of the Emergency Response Team. This included some awesome high angle rescues. I decided to become an EMT because in addition to being a nurse I wanted to be the best rescuer. Now I volunteer with the Contra Costa Search and Rescue and recently participated in a fun mock rescue and almost stepped on a rattlesnake.
That's my adventurous side but I also have a soft side. I'm a natural caregiver and truly love people. I laugh easily, and a good Country music song can make me cry. I am ready to open my heart again and I think I have a lot to offer. I am looking for someone who loves life and has a positive attitude. It would be great if this person grows tomatoes in his garden and likes to cook, but I am the queen of eating out. It would be great if they liked hiking in the open space because that kind of activiity makes me happy. It would be great if they liked walking on the beach, traveling, and eating ice cream. But most of all, I want to meet someone who will share with me the things they love.
