My friends say that I'm easy going and funny but I work too much; thatРІР‚в„ўs because I enjoy my work. I donРІР‚в„ўt consider myself a workaholic because I have no problem turning off the Blackberry and cell phone. I'm not into shopping (except for fabric) and prefer to spend money on travel and new experiences. I'm honest and loyal and looking for the same in a man. I'm not political or religious but am interested in politics and current events and tend to be a news junkie. I'm an outgoing, friendly person and can hold my own in a conversation so if you are the somber, reserved, silent type you may find me annoying.
Being outdoors and walking my crazy dogs is a daily pleasure. I was on a swim team and still enjoy swimming laps and anything to do with water: white-water rafting, fishing, boating etc. I've been playing “conversational tennis” with my girlfriends 1-2 times a week for the past 5 years. We call it conversational because the tennis pro gave up on us (we didn’t take it seriously enough for him) and we talk so much that we often forget the score. I own golf clubs and enjoy walking on golf courses (they are beautiful) but I’m a terrible golfer. If you need a golf cart driver, or even better, someone to walk along and be an admiring audience I can manage that. I don't really consider myself an athlete but I have done a couple sprint triathlons and Mile swims for fundraisers and plan to do more so I try to stay fit and eat healthy. Basically, I am more of a tomboy than a girly, girl but I do enjoy wearing makeup and putting on a glamorous dress occasionally.
I have two very independent sons and I'm not a clingy mom so I don't see them very much (they do text me occasionally). One is at the University of Oregon and the other is working and has his own apartment. I am currently separated which is not the ideal situation but if you are concerned about a reconciliation it is not going to happen since my husband is living with his young mistress (classic male mid-life crisis scenario). I am an independent woman and not afraid of doing things by myself but I admit that I enjoy male companionship. What is it about you guys?!? Hint: smart men that write well are incredibly sexy to me so I am a sucker for a well written and/or humorous profile.
