Shortly after graduation, I moved to San Diego and have been here ever since. My whole life IРІР‚в„ўve been into athletics. Swimming and track have been a huge part of my life. I like a lot of out door activities and I know nature is beautiful. I enjoy watching soccer, basket ball, rugby and football and always try as much as possible to be there for the people I love. Meet a woman from California, United States. I'm a Southern Belle and have been out in San Diego for a little over a year now. I moved out here for work and because of long work days, I haven't gotten the chance to meet anyone here. I'm still hesitant about the online dating thing, but it looks like this is the best way for me to "put myself out there" again.
About me... I'm from Birmingham, AL went to the University of Alabama... as well as Louisiana State University (and yes, SEC is the premiere conference. We can debate if you want... but I'll win that one). :) Majored in International Marketing... M.A. in French literature... and a partial PhD in French linguistics. And I'm using none of that for my current job. I love what I do, which is good b/c I spend so many hours there. I haven't had much of a chance to explore San Diego, and admittedly have gone to the beach only a couple of times since moving out here. ... Have I mentioned that I work a lot??
I love to travel. I lived in France for awhile and have gotten to travel around Western Europe some of the Caribbean. Lots of places left to see. Love movies and reading. I used to be a gym rat now work out 3-4 days a week. My newest hobby is ballroom dance - waltz, rumba, salsa, swing, etc. No, I wouldn't expect my date to be a dancer, just willing to try every now and then.
I feel like it's important to let you know up front... that I don't surf. Also, I don't camp. Please don't hold this against me - I really am fun! Maybe it's because of being from the south, but camping makes me think of mosquitos and bugs... and I just really prefer indoor plumbing.
