So before you read on, I want to put it out there that I AM HAPPY in life...all I want to do is add to that happiness. I am not looking to "complete" myself or fill some sort of void. Rather, I am looking for an equal...
Like so many others, I simply find it hard to meet new people and well, what better way to go about it than to blast myself into the outer orbit of internet dating, where its reaches are far beyond anywhere I could get to in the next five years!
So, I have lived in California all my life, and with that, have developed a pretty laid-back disposition. However, I have learned when to get up and take charge when things need to get done. So, I guess I am trying to say I am not a dysfunctional lad-back person. :)
I am a romantic pure and simple. I appreciate being appreciated and believe kindness CAN make the world go-round. I am completely turned off by mean people and will stand up for someone being mistreated.
Animals are a big part of my life and I volunteer for a few rescue organizations that help shelter animals and other wildlife. Doing that kind of work fills me with purpose and joy...I am not trying to sound fake, but it really does.
I like enjoying the simple things in life and would like to share that with someone special. Sometimes all it takes is a good whiff of the ocean or a nice sunset to make a not-so-good day better!
As for what kind of guy I am looking for...well, all I can say is that he is kind, likes to laugh, is funny, and appreciates life. Getting specific with looks kind of takes away from the adventure of it all because you NEVER know who will show up!
