Hmm...I will keep this brief since anything really worth knowing about me cannot be put into a short paragraph...i will however say that I would like to meet someone who is excited about life and makes the most out of every situation. I would much rather be out doing some kind of physical activity (biking, hiking, kayaking-you name it I'm up for it.) rather than shopping. I enjoy being outdoors and feel that it helps me keep some type of balance in the everyday craziness of life.
I am at a point in my life where I know that love is a gift and should be treated as such. I am loyal, often to a fault, but also realize that when it's right it should just come naturally and not require too much forced effort. Another important part of me (actually the most important part of me) is my son. He is awesome and amazing in so many ways. I do not just say that because he is my son, I say it because he truly is. I see glimpses of the man he is growing up to be and it makes me so proud. So needless to say, anyone that comes into my life will have to appreciate the fact that I'm a package deal ;)

I have dinner and wine with my cousins every Monday night; I go hiking or paddleboarding on Saturday mornings; I love making dinner with my finds from the Farmer's market; I read every night before I go to bed; I would rather work out before work than after; I love taking photos—of everything; my favorite days are the ones where I've done something active, have an afternoon beer, and then spend the evening relaxing. I prefer camping to fancy hotels; and my closest friends I have known since I was 5.
I think most people who know me would describe me as genuine, adventurous, and willing to try new things. I have lived in Northern California, New Zealand, and am now back down here (where I grew up) so I can be closer to my family...I feel really lucky to really love my job which has given me the ability to travel, work with kids across the country, and write.

I have my court reporters license and at the moment. I have thrown myself back into school full time in order to prepare for an upcoming national test. I'm excited for all the doors having a national certification can open.
