Here goes... I was born and raised in Hawaii and I moved here seven-ish years ago. I play bass in a local indie band. Being in a band is like being in a relationship. I spend a lot of time with them. I also spend time with my family. Between family, music, and work, I don't get out much to meet new people. But there are a lot of interesting people I'd like to meet. Like you!
What else... You can't tell by my pale legs, but I enjoy the outdoors and going on hikes. I also like admiring architecture and photography. If I had to choose between a trendy club or dive bar, I'd choose dive bar without giving it a second thought. I eat kinda slow because I like to enjoy my meals. Good food makes me happy. I can order dim sum. I hold my chopsticks wrong but I don't care because I can still pick things up.
Off the top of my head, some other things I like... breakfast food for dinner, coffee and people watching, t-shirt and jeans, walking around different neighborhoods, eating in different neighborhoods, and traveling. I've taken several road trips around the US and it's always a blast, I love having a beer with the locals and hearing their stories. I've also been to Asia and Central Europe, it takes me about a month to adjust back to not talking so much with my hands. And I hope to explore the southern hemisphere sometime soon.
I'm looking for hang out buddies. And if there's a little something something, something that's giving both of us butterflies in the belly, then we should find out if it was the food we just ate or if it's chemistry.
