I'm quasi-skeptical of the whole online dating scene, but excited for whatever lies ahead and hoping to find a great guy to prove me wrong. I'm at a point in my life where a lot of my friends are at that stage of either getting married or having kids, so I've been trying to meet new people and find "less attached" (single) friends to hang out and do stuff with that doesn't necessarily involve wedding planning or Chuck E Cheese birthday parties (although those are sometimes fun).
Ideally, I'd like to be friends first and see where that goes. I want something a little more serious and stable at this stage in my life, but I like to just let things happen. I'm looking to meet someone with similar interests, someone who's active and athletic, ambitious, and intelligent. A good sense of humor is also very important. I like to laugh so if you can make me laugh, that is a very good thing.
I'm a Marriage & Family Therapist turned Behavior Analyst working with Autistic children and as much as I love my job, balance and separating my work and personal lives has always been important to me. When I'm not working I love to spend time with my friends, read, play/watch sports (especially the Celtics!), go camping, work out, travel, check out live music and sporting events, explore farmer's markets on the weekends, and test out Food Network recipes on my friends.

As far as what I do for fun, I love trying new restaurants, wine tasting, running, yoga, snowboarding and scuba diving. I also love tropical places I can scuba dive, but I still have Spain, Thailand, Japan, Egypt and South Africa on my bucket list.
My favorite places that I've been to so far are Cozumel (drift diving), London, Paris, and Italy. In the U.S., I had a great time in Boston and D.C. The most adventurous place and thing I've ever done is trekking through the mountains and jungles of Peru to Machu Picchu.
