I've learned to love being independent, and now I'm just looking for someone to share all the things life has to offer. I wouldn't call myself high maintenance but I certainly enjoy, on occasion, the finer things in life. I like to get dirty (get your mind outta the gutter!) I MEAN I love being outdoors; hiking, baseball games, camping...I've even wrestled an alligator or two in my day (true story). I also love getting dressed up for a night on the town; I love dancing and I challenge anybody to a robot-dance off! Most of all I love to laugh, both at myself and with my friends and family. Life is too short to take yourself so seriously all the time.
Don't get me wrong, my career is incredibly important to me...it's taken me to a lot of super neat places and I've worked hard to be successful. While most of what I do tends to be serious, I know how to leave work at work so I can focus on the important relationships I have in my life.
My family is incredibly important to me, and I count myself as one of the lucky few that actually likes to be around them. I'm fortunate that they are all close by; I grew up in the bay area and none of us have strayed too far from home.
As for who I'm looking for, I suppose I'd like someone who has the same outlook on life as me: driven to succeed, loves life, laughter and family, likes to go out or can just as easily spend a casual night at home. Date someone special from California, United States. When I get asked to describe myself, it's always hard to come up with just the right words. To find an accurate description of who I am today is almost impossible.
But if I had to describe myself in a few sentences this is what it would look like:
"I am a girly-girl who likes to get dirty (I like being active). I generally like to think of myself as a kid-at-heart and the coolest nerd you'll ever meet! I also believe I am the funniest person I know!!"
With that said, I am a very multi-faceted individual. I like to dabble in all sorts of things from paint-balling to wine tasting. As a general rule I say I will try ALMOST anything at least TWICE!! I think the more one experiences, the more they have to offer this world.
I am fun-loving, silly, goofy and sometimes a bit of a klutz. I graduated with honors but at the same time thought New England was a CITY that the Patriots played in (I know...it was a "blonde" moment)!! lol I enjoy sophisticated outings such as plays, museums and wineries but also like going to sporting events, lounges and weekend BBQ's. I am a leader by nature but actually enjoy riding shotgun as well.
What I would like to find in a person is someone who has similar interests and beliefs to what I do. Someone who is strong yet a gentleman, assertive yet smooth in his approach. Someone who is versatile, who can hang with his boys but yet still be a charmer in front of the appropriate people. Someone with a GOOD sense of humor and can roll with the punches as well as throw a good 1, 2 themselves. Someone who likes to be adventurous and active...maybe a little water skiing, camping, traveling to foreign places, taking a trip to the local amusement park for some stomach dropping thrills, getting lost in the hills of gorgeous mansion neighborhoods on a Sunday afternoon just РІР‚?cause, but at the same time can just enjoy a nice quiet evening at the house. Someone who is creative and even a bit romantic. I am very close with my family and would love for someone to be the same with theirs.
At this point in my life, I am looking for someone who is secure about who they are, what they want, and where they want to go in life but that also realizes that you never stop growing and learning. Someone who isn't afraid to find that special someone and open up their world to them.

Sadly I haven't quite mastered that skill yet, so we'll go with random trivia about me instead... I grew up in SoCal, and still go back to visit family, but I prefer Northern California. I like to try new things, but will definitely repeat the cool stuff. I like to find fun random things to do like hiking YosemiteРІР‚в„ўs Half Dome, Apple Picking in Apple Hill, and the pumpkin festival in Half Moon bay, concerts in the park, slow rafting the American river. IРІР‚в„ўve seen, P!nk, NoDoubt, Nickleback, Gwen Stefani, and a few others in concert (listening to the radio is a great way to get free stuff!) I've cruised to the Caribbean and Ensenada, vacationed in England and Hawaii and I'm looking forward to my next getaway. I can usually read an entire book in about 5 hours. I love local downtown areas because that's the best place to wander, find new things and its where you can usually find the restaurants with the best food. I dislike clubs (I have no rhythm) and usually end up the DD when my friends and I go out, because I canРІР‚в„ўt hold my alcohol. I own dresses, but IРІР‚в„ўm more comfortable in jeans. My favorite way to exercise is with friends whether it's hiking, biking, or walking my dog on the local trails. I think going camping on the weekend is one of the best ways to enjoy summer (my favorite season). I enjoy pretty much any kind of movie, except for Horror, and I especially love cheesy Zombie Flicks and End of the World Disaster movies. IРІР‚в„ўm divorced, but not scarred by it. We were just too young and grew apart.
